Introducing the FURBUS Newsletter #1: Spotlight on Urban Food Resilience and Sustainable Eating

We’re delighted to introduce our first newsletter, announcing the exciting launch of the FURBUS project. This initiative aims to encourage sustainable eating habits and stronger food resilience in urban communities. With support from the Erasmus+ programme, FURBUS is all set to bring about positive behaviour changes, motivating people to embrace eco-friendly practices for a better and greener future.

Why FURBUS?

FURBUS aims to empower urban communities with knowledge and tools for sustainable food choices, contributing to the EU Green Deal and key climate goals. How We Achieve This:

  1. Digital Map: Showcasing 60 sustainable food practices, inspiring eco-friendly approaches.
  2. Interactive Online Learning Course: 50 modules for essential sustainable and mindful eating skills.

With FURBUS, we aspire to foster a paradigm shift in how urban communities interact with and choose their food. By embracing the manifold opportunities offered by sustainable practices, we aim to contribute substantially to the overarching goals of the EU Green Deal while propelling urban societies towards a future marked by resilience, mindfulness, and ecological harmony.
